'sheltering' etching

DESCRIPTION

These two figures I spotted from my bedroom window. They were sheltering from the rain under a shared umbrella. There was something endearing about them. They stuck in my head and later that day I tried to draw how I remembered it all. I made two etchings of this drawing. Why two? If I have two different options I tend to be able to experiment a bit more freely with the etching-plate.
This print is a small black and white etching on thick Somerset acid free paper titled ‘sheltering’.
