TRIVIA

This is one of my favourite prints. It was great fun creating it and it still makes me smile to myself when I read the little information snippets. Specially this one:

“The jumbo sausage dog NEVER EVER roll in other dog’s poop. Partly because they think it’s an absolutely nasty habit, and partly because they can't get up again.”

It was created for an Alphabet-challenge. I was allocated the letter 'J' from Will's Art Warehouse who were putting together the alphabet. Logically I settled for the idea of:
J as in Jumbo-Saussage-Dog.
Then I tried to come up with other words that started with J. Hence Jpeg, Jinx, Jurassic Era and Junk-mail.
The print is made up of first the background colour from a colograph-plate. Then 9 small pieces of etched copper-plates are puzzled together to make the same shape as the background.
